Eid al-Adha is finally here, a beautiful tradition where we all come together to celebrate. The previous Eid was celebrated after Ramadan, a beautiful yet difficult period.
If you see a Muslim man or brother then say ‘Eid Mubarak!‘
Eid al-Adha is celebrated by slaughtering a sheep or a lamb. The reason for that is because Allah commanded Ibrahim to slaughter a sheep as devotion to him. When this was done it became a tradition in Islam.
When the animal is slaughtered, the meat gets divided into several parts and given to family, relatives, friends and neighbors, and those in need. The point is to make sure that no one is left out.
Eid al- Fitr is personally my favorite. Imagine fasting for about 30 days, it’s not an easy thing to do but it strengths our connection with Allah. Our sins are forgiven with prayers and fasting. And it’s the month of spiritual rejuvenation. It’s held to celebrate the end of fasting.
ATTIRE
What I love about Eid is that me and my Muslim brothers come together and pray. We usually like to wear new clothes and ‘show them off’ but I prefer wearing my Thawb (thobe) also called Abaya and Djellaba.
I do not wear underwear underneath my black Djellaba, that way I can freeball all day long! As I walk my dick swings left and right. They don’t notice because what Muslim brother would draw their eyes down there?
COVID-19
Unfortunately, this year has been the worst one so far in this decade. Because of the pandemic, me and my Muslim brothers had to make sure we were following protocols that is wearing a face-mask and or gloves. But that doesn’t stop us from celebrating!
